LOKRIS. Lokris Opuntii. Circa 300-275 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 17 mm, 2.77 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΛOKPΩN Ajax, nude, advancing to right, holding short sword in his right hand and shield ornamented with a hippocamp on the inside in his left; to lower right, trident-head. BCD Lokris-Phokis 105. Beautifully toned. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
